TERRY G QUITS MANAGEMENT OUTFIT "NOW MUSIK".

Words:Adedosu 'kenzy' Adedosu

Not so many people have noticed him for quite some time now, the reason is not far fetched as the HIT-MAN(as he is referred to be called now) was about a month ago signed on to NOW MUSIC.Really, his fans thought it was a fluke played on him, but later it all came out glaring that it was all true. But Contrary to the misconception about the persona of Singer and producer Gabriel Amayi popularly known as Terry G as disorganized and unkempt, it's not what it seems after all.

Terry G who has recently been making frantic efforts to re-brand his music and public perception lend a charitable hand to the SOS children village, Isolo Lagos orphanage home on Thursday March 17, 2011 as part of events marking his birthday.

The happy Terry G recalled his days before stardom and success beckoned, noting it's a gesture of appreciation to God and humanity.

'It's good to show some love. I've once been in such situation even if I'm not an orphan. I just thought about going out of my hood to show love to these kids'

The singer in company of his mother, brother and other family members and friends presented bags of rice, salt, ground nut oil and other valuable items to the home as the children who seemed excited chorused his songs and mimicked his dance style.

'I really admire Terry G's heart, we appreciate his gesture. As you can see the kids are very happy to have him here. God will take him to greater heights'; one of the social workers at the orphanage home tells us.

After touring the facility in lead of the social workers, the ginger master as Terry is fondly called answered a number of questions from the kids and wrapped the visit with a brief performance amid random snap shots with both the home workers and the children.

Meanwhile, the ‘Free Madness’ singer has parted ways with ‘Now Muzik’ few months after he announced in a press gathering that he had resorted to pitch his tent with the management company.

Amayi sacked his manager Ayodeji to sign up with Now Muzik in November 2010 alongside singer Timi Dakolo but for unconfirmed reasons, the defunct ‘House of Ginjah’ boss exited the Efe Omoregbe led company prematurely.
